How to use our school’s Google Classroom
Note: your child will need their log-in details for their school Google Classroom account to complete the steps below.(These can be found in their reading record) If they can’t find these log-in details, please email the school office on curryrivelprimary@educ.somerset.gov.uk
Smartphones and tablets: download the free Google Classroom app

iOS devices (iPhones, iPods, and iPads) |

Open the Play Store app Search for ‘Google Classroom’ Tap ‘Google Classroom’ Tap ‘Install’ |
Open the App Store app Search for ‘Google Classroom’ Tap ‘Google Classroom’ Tap ‘Get’ |
Once the app has downloaded, open it.
Then, your child needs to:
Log in to their Google Classroom account with their google classroom username and password. (their username is usually their initial and lastname then @curryrivelprimary.co.uk eg jbloggs@curryrivelprimary.co.uk)

Computers and laptops: log in to Google Classroom
Your child needs to:
Go to www.classroom.google.com
Log in to their Google Classroom account with their google classroom username and password. (their username is usually their initial and lastname then @curryrivelprimary.co.uk eg jbloggs@curryrivelprimary.co.uk)

Xbox : log in to Google Classroom
- Plug a keyboard into the Xbox USB slot.
- Go to my games and apps.
- Find and select Microsoft Edge.
- Navigate to your online learning platform.
PlayStation log in to Google Classroom
- Identify the PlayStation internet browser icon (WWW with dots around it).
- Press the PlayStation logo on the controller.
- Go to the library and find options for games and applications.
- Go to applications and you will find the internet browser.
- Navigate to your online learning platform and log in as usual.
