Friends of Curry Rivel School

Welcome to the Friends of Curry Rivel School page!

We are here to help the school by raising funds and strengthening the school community through a variety of events.
Throughout the year we fund book bags and water bottles for those joining Pippin class; leaver’s book tokens for Year 6 pupils and provide a subsidised school Christmas lunch for all who choose it!
We have just purchased visualisers for use in the classrooms. These connect to the smartboard and can be used to display and enlarge anything instantly; from a piece of work written by a child to a tiny coin brought in for show and tell! We also contributed significantly to new playground equipment. Our current fundraising is for laptops for use in the classrooms.
This year we have a large committee! They are:

Ruth Shurley and Mark Hicks (shared chair), Allan Snow (secretary), Andrea Selway (treasurer). Rupert Lovesy, Jennie Lovesy (teacher rep), Caroline Wardman, Anne Fowler, Chris Brown, Claire Bisset, Karen Beadmen, Debbie Inder, Sharon Porter, Michala Yarde, Angela Graham, Vicky Harvey and Amanda Russell (head teacher)
We meet regularly throughout the year to plan events and fund raisers. We are always open to new ideas for fundraisers or offers to help at any of our events.
We hold discos for children at the school during the autumn, spring and summer term.

All children attending must have completed a parental consent form including contact numbers.

If you make purchases online though Spend and Raise we receive a donation to our funds which support the school.

Prints - are available from the school office Price £10 Cards- are available from the school office and the Post Office - price £1.50		Currently we have 63 members and if you would like more information on becoming a member of the monthly draw please pick up a leaflet from the School Office or the Post Office. If you're not in it - you can’t win it!
